Louisville cyclists played Bike Tag by finding the location in one photograph, riding there, and leaving a new mystery for the next rider. The game ultimately ended at Tag #502 — fittingly, Louisville's area code.

Bike Tag is a cycling scavenger hunt. A rider finds the place or thing shown in the current photo, photographs their bike there to claim it, then posts a new mystery photo for the next rider.
The BikeCruiseBrews game documented more than destinations. It captured murals, buildings, oddities, changing streets, and the choices of a cycling community exploring Louisville together. As platforms and communities change, this archive keeps that collective history from disappearing.
