Dismas Charities Statue
About this tag
Back to the old Seagram office, but this time the clue was the lamp-bearing woman out front instead of the grand stone entrance. The 1936–37 Calvert distillery complex was deliberately built as a showplace, with a Regency Revival office facing a much more industrial operation behind it. Dismas Charities now uses the old office as its national headquarters. The statue’s backstory remains elusive, which gives her a nice advantage as a second Bike Tag clue at the same building.
