Bandit is a miniature horse who has lived behind a Rawlings Street house for years and become enough of a neighborhood fixture to inspire an actual City Hall fight. A 2025 ordinance change suddenly required miniature horses to have at least an acre of land, which could have forced him out. Public pushback followed, Metro Council revisited the rule, and the livestock requirements were amended again in 2026. Pretty good civic influence for a very small horse.
