Park of the Four Fountains
About this tag
“Park of the Four Fountains” sounds like a placeholder somebody forgot to replace, but it is almost comically literal. This little downtown space was built as the public plaza for 400 West Market, and yes: there are four fountains. They are even connected to a wind gauge so the water can adjust when conditions get breezy. Add patterned granite, flowering trees, and custom glass lamps, and the generic name starts to feel like the only restrained thing about the place.
