Widow’s Walk looks like it ought to have a century of riverfront ghosts behind it, but the Victorian-style building was actually constructed in 1998 specifically for ice cream. Its deliberately old-fashioned architecture makes a pretty convincing backdrop for sitting beside the Ohio and looking across at Louisville. Better yet for a Bike Tag landmark, the place has even rented bicycles to visitors heading toward the Big Four Bridge. Ride by the river, eat ice cream, repeat.
