About this tag

Another Damon Thompson garage for Bike Tag’s growing collection. Thompson started covering Louisville garages and backyard walls with large portrait murals during the early months of the pandemic. This Tina Turner piece came later, in August 2022, after a Germantown homeowner commissioned it for himself. Thompson had put the project off for a while, then one day put on a Tina record and decided it was finally time. He later said he was glad he painted her while she was still alive.
