Cultural Crossroads
About this tag
This fence mural sat on Oak Street between St. William Church and Dismas Charities’ Diersen reentry facility. The two were more connected than their neighboring addresses might suggest. St. William’s history includes renting space to Dismas, which grew into a prison ministry, and the church later started CrossRoads Ministry to bring people into the neighborhood for retreats focused on justice and peacemaking.
