Planet of the Tapes opened in 2020 as a comedy room, bar, cinema lounge and actual movie-rental shop. The walls were lined with VHS tapes, but the roughly 1,700 movies available to rent were mostly DVDs, which is a pretty good detail for a place with this name. These days it leans more toward comedy, music, screenings and other assorted weirdness.
