Eva Bandman was built to make bicycles suffer in entertaining ways. The cyclocross course has used sand, steep run-ups, stairs, flyovers, and plenty of awkward terrain, and in 2013 it hosted the first Cyclocross World Championships ever held outside Europe. These dirt bumps are part of that same general philosophy: if the ground looks unnecessarily lumpy, somebody probably expects you to ride a bike over it.
