About this tag

What caught me here was the style: stark black-and-white artwork that stood out from the surroundings without needing much explanation. The Art Cartel has left murals all over this part of Louisville, working from the idea that public art can make an ordinary neighborhood surface into something people actually notice. I haven’t found a reliable title or origin story for this particular piece, which feels fine. Sometimes Bike Tag worked best as a reason to stop and look at something you might otherwise have ridden straight past.
