Kenwood Killer Totem
About this tag
Rollingwood Trail climbs almost to the top of Kenwood Hill, roughly 755 feet above sea level, and local cyclists know the ascent well enough to have nicknamed it the “Kenwood Killer.” Near the summit, the punishment ends at a tiny landscaped island surrounded by a private driveway. The reward is not a scenic monument but something much stranger: three tall, brightly decorated assemblages standing in a tiny garden island inside a private driveway, with a peace sign suspended in the middle. I have never found a title, artist, or explanation for it.
