Dinsoaur
About this tag
The metal dinosaur skeleton in this New Albany front yard doesn’t seem to have a documented artist or origin story. There is a good local geology joke hiding in it, though. Dinosaurs probably lived in Indiana, but no dinosaur fossils have ever been found here because the rock layers from their era are gone. The nearby Falls of the Ohio fossil beds are much older, about 390 million years old, from a time when this whole region was under a shallow tropical sea.
