These millstones looked like they ought to be an instant giveaway, yet they managed to stump the group for a few days. Part of the problem was simply geography: Bike Tag had wandered across the river onto the Ohio Greenway, where plenty of Louisville riders had passed these stones without ever filing them away as landmarks. The better detail is that a real old millstone was unearthed here during Greenway construction in 2003, near the site of Clarksville’s early grist mills. Apparently even a giant piece of local history can become invisible when you bicycle past it often enough.
