About this tag

This garage portrait is another Damon Thompson mural, part of the loose outdoor gallery of celebrity faces he scattered across Louisville walls and garage doors. Eartha Kitt is an especially good fit for the format: instantly recognizable, theatrical, glamorous, and a little intimidating even at residential scale. The mural sat behind the former Shifty Business location, giving an otherwise ordinary surface a much bigger personality.
