About this tag

1323 Winter Avenue is an old house, dating to around 1900, but what made this one fun was the clue handling. The original tagger tried to hide the house number, except the masking job wasn’t quite good enough. That made 1323 easy to recover while still leaving the street itself as the real puzzle. Once you found Winter Avenue, the house’s extremely colorful exterior did the rest.
