This scruffy patch of grass and pavement had people asking where on earth the tagger had gone. The surrounding Payne and Charlton block has an appropriately messy history, with old industrial property, redevelopment, and even a couple of little-used alleys that Louisville officially closed in 2018. When the questions started, the tagger offered only, “Orienteer, Mr. Bike Messenger Man.” In other words, quit waiting for a recognizable landmark and start reading the terrain.
