This is less a “Welcome to Auburndale” mural than a 150-foot scrapbook of Louisville’s South End. Painted by Sabra Crockett in 2017 from ideas gathered from local residents, it folds in places like the Little Loomhouse, Jefferson Memorial Forest, the old Kenwood Drive-In, Colonial Gardens, and Iroquois Amphitheater, with neighborhood names worked into the design. It was later vandalized and restored by the original artist.
