Third visit, so here’s one detail we skipped the first two times: Louisville’s public-art collection credits Strata to Joyce Ogden and dates it to 1997. Ogden was the Spalding professor who guided the art class that began reworking Memorial Park in 1995, with hundreds of neighbors eventually joining in. The city later included the park in a 2019 Library Lane redesign, but as of June 2026 that plan still lists no completed outcomes. Nearly thirty years on, Strata keeps giving Bike Tag a reason to stop here.
