Derby City Polka Dots
About this tag
Derby City Market showed up on Barret Avenue around 2022, packed with mid-century furniture, old records, vintage clothes, toys, art, and assorted weirdness. The polka-dot wall fits the place pretty well. Owner Justin Scurlock apparently has a weakness for adding color wherever he can. A couple years later, after a snowstorm left piles along the street, he attacked those with food-safe dye because the city had provided him with “extra canvas.”
