About this tag

This was the actual 2023 HGTV Urban Oasis giveaway house, a 1924 Craftsman renovated by Louisville’s Twin Spires Remodeling and designer Brian Patrick Flynn. The timing of the tag was perfect. The sweepstakes had opened just a month earlier and was still running, with the furnished house, a Mercedes and $50,000 up for grabs. More than 73 million entries came in before Phyliss Jackson-Polk of New Orleans won the package. HGTV called the neighborhood Germantown, though Louisville coverage placed the house in Paristown Pointe.
