About this tag

This black structure sitting in a park was barely three months old when it was tagged. New Walnut Street Park opened in September 2025 as the replacement for the old Walnut Street Park near Beecher Terrace, moving the name a few blocks west onto the former Porter Paints site. The old park dated to 1940. This one got a fresh start with new courts, fields, playground space, and one very piano-ish piece of architecture.
