About this tag

The Minions-meet-Willy-Wonka mashup really was intentional. Mellwood Art Center itself posted the mural years ago and tagged it as a Willy Wonka tribute, complete with #minions. I couldn’t find a reliable artist credit. It’s one of many pieces scattered around Mellwood, the former Fischer Meat Packing plant that was turned into a sprawling home for artists, studios, shops and event spaces starting in 2003.
