About this tag

This was once LMPD’s home for the horses, but by the time Bike Tag stopped here they had already moved out. Local reporting was calling the Iroquois barn the former police barn by 2021, and Metro later contracted with a private equestrian facility to board the Mounted Patrol horses. The unit itself is still active, showing up for neighborhood patrols, Derby crowds and other big events. Iroquois kept the horse connection too, with the nearby arena still used for equestrian events.
