J&J was still in business when this tag landed, selling and repairing instruments from its little shop at Second and Burnett. Founder Joshua Penner was a musician and luthier who built guitars as well as worked on them. The shop has since closed, and by late 2025 the same storefront had reopened as a student-run vintage clothing store called Thrifted. Same corner, very different inventory.
