About this tag

The flower-covered container was already part of Shelby Park before Louisville Vegan Jerky Co. moved into the old Save-A-Lot next door. Louisville Metro’s public-art inventory lists a painted shipping container in the neighborhood by artist Van Eygers, dated 2017, which lines up closely with this spot. The jerky company took over 1311 South Shelby in 2021 and converted the former grocery into its production headquarters.
