About this tag

Garden Court caught a little flack as a Bike Tag location because the Seminary has an actual photography policy for the property. Photo sessions on the grounds are supposed to be arranged in advance, and some kinds carry a fee, so dropping a photo-based game into the middle of that was at least a little awkward. The place itself dates to 1906, when John Charles Olmsted helped plan the estate grounds. In a very 1906 moment, he reportedly advised against shrinking the stable because automobiles might turn out to be a passing fad. The estate later became part of the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary campus, which is why this looks and feels a bit like a public park while still being private Seminary property.
