This building looks like somebody designed it after the lot was already cut into a point, which is more or less what happened. It sits where three streets and two different Louisville street grids collide, leaving an awkward triangular wedge that the little brick building has occupied since the 1880s. It spent years vacant and was once headed for demolition before being saved. Contemporary reporting described its interior as badly deteriorated and full of miscellaneous junk.
