Shippingport was more than another brewery for a lot of Louisville cyclists. It became a second home, the kind of place where rides ended but the night kept going, where bikes piled up outside and familiar faces were waiting inside. This mural was tagged on February 14, 2026, while Shippingport was still open. Six days later, the brewery announced it was closing, and the final beers were poured on February 28 after nearly five years in Portland. Five years was long enough for a lot of friendships, traditions, and ordinary nights to become part of the place. Amelia and Sue, thank you for giving us somewhere that felt like ours.
