These chain arches were barely broken in when Bike Tag stopped here. PlayPort had opened just three months earlier, in March 2025, as the first piece of Waterfront Park’s westward expansion. The whole 3.5-acre playground was designed around Louisville’s river and industrial history, with real construction and boat materials repurposed into places to climb, explore, and learn.
