Hauck’s Corner kept a lot of the old Handy Store when it reopened in 2022, then filled the expanded backyard with vintage signs, salvaged furniture, games, and assorted playground weirdness. That includes old-school spring horses and, apparently, a bumper car hanging out near the fence line. I couldn’t find where those particular pieces came from, but they fit the place perfectly. The whole renovation seems to operate on the principle that if an object is old, strange, and fun to look at, there’s probably room for it somewhere.
