1401 Meriwether was one of those Louisville walls that seemed to collect murals faster than anyone collected information about them. The surrounding blocks are a mix of small businesses, neighborhood institutions, blank masonry, and leftover industrial surfaces — exactly the kind of terrain where painted walls can become part of the scenery without ever acquiring plaques or official titles. “Aloha Meloa” was one among several pieces around this spot, distinctive enough to make a Bike Tag but apparently informal enough to leave almost no paper trail.
