The shaggy yard horse appears to be a retired Hasbro FurReal Friends S’MORES Pony, not a garden statue at all. This late-2000s animatronic toy stood over three feet tall, ran on six D batteries, and responded to touch and voices by moving its head, blinking, wiggling its ears, swishing its tail, whinnying and snorting. Kids could even sit on it for a pretend ride. How one ended up grazing beside the Ohio River Greenway is still unexplained.
