Ring Bell for Assistance
About this tag
The anonymous green loading dock is actually the back side of Bargain Supply Company. The family-owned Louisville business dates to 1929, when it began as Ogden’s Cut Rate Store. Today the Jefferson Street store packs roughly 40,000 items into 60,000 square feet, from appliances and power tools to tarps, toys and whatever other closeouts have turned up lately. From the rear, though, all you get is a garage door and the wonderfully unhelpful instruction: “RING BELL FOR ASSISTANCE.”
