This cyclist is one small part of the wonderfully odd mural running through the Story Avenue underpass beneath I-64. The artwork has been there since at least 2006, and other panels lean hard into Butchertown’s history with butchers chasing pigs and one unfortunate pig discovering a “Special: Pork Chops” sign. This particular rider acquired a second identity among us because several people thought he looked suspiciously like Seamus, a familiar face in the local cyclocross scene.
