Clifton Park Motorcycle
About this tag
That little red motorcycle lives in one of Louisville’s easier parks to forget. Clifton Park is barely an acre, tucked beside I-64, and it actually exists because the highway project left this scrap of land behind in the late 1960s. Most of the year it’s a quiet neighborhood playground, but Thunder is the exception. People pack onto the elevated edge for a free look at the fireworks, enough that nearby real estate listings have advertised the view. Clifton Park is getting a little more attention now. As of August 2026, Louisville Metro had a donated futsal court under construction there through the LouCity and Racing Foundation and Humana Foundation.
