Home of the Innocents opened the Kay and Jim Morrissey therapy center in 2010 around a 92-degree saltwater pool designed for medically fragile children and other swimmers with special needs. It was equipped for things like chair and stretcher access, and staff even developed a way for a ventilator to float alongside a child during therapy.
