About this tag

These giant music notes were still basically new when this was tagged. Alberta O. Jones Park had opened only about six months earlier, with a playground built around a music theme chosen through community input. The structures include oversized notes and a climbing tower meant to resemble an unfolding sheet of music, plus playable outdoor instruments. The park itself replaced flood-prone residential land and was named for Louisville attorney and civil-rights organizer Alberta Odell Jones.
