First Street Corridor - Resko
About this tag
This is part of the Jefferson First Street Corridor, a 2020 project that turned pieces of JCTC’s downtown campus into an outdoor gallery. The artists included JCTC students and local talent, and this one is by Braylyn Stewart, better known as RESKO, a longtime Louisville aerosol muralist. The area is changing again now. Hartford Hall is slated to come down as part of JCTC’s Jefferson Rising redevelopment, making these murals a reminder of an earlier effort to make First Street feel more like a campus.
