Back across the river to NoCo, where even the poles apparently aren’t allowed to stay boring. The octopus was painted across a set of them in Jeffersonville’s 22-acre arts district, which the city began developing in 2013 out of a formerly blighted stretch north of Court Avenue. NoCo has made a habit of folding ordinary streetscape stuff into the art, so a many-legged creature climbing the poles was pretty much on brand.
